its easter sunday and i'm quite bored so here's a list of my top 10 artists at the moment (some of them ever)
1. Bun-B. - Who can make 'no mixtape' then have to release it due to it been better than everyone else's content they're making? TRILL.O.G. coming soon
2. Drake - it's drake, lets be honest if you haven't heard of him. google/wikipedia/radio/walk outside and you'll find out he is what music is gong to be for years to come. its far from over.
3. Wiley - the godfather of the grime is going to be the godfather of uk music by the end of 2010. roll deep album, A-list album, BBK album & 2 Solo Projects. p.s. MC PON 141 is grime at the moment.
4. Jay-Z - I'm seeing him in june, he never disappoints with content and drake's supporting him. he's got obama on BBM too. mr carter may well be king of the world.
5. Z-Ro - Joseph Mcvay may be the most under rated rapper in the world, no one has really noticed his potential fully outside of H-Town but christ he can rap.
6. JME - In my honest opinion the most down to earth man on the planet and the best grime artist the world has to offer bar none. Pick Up the Mic and Spray, Sidetracked etc all on his forthcoming album.
7. Jeezy - you may know him as 'young jeezy' but jeezt is back this year with a new album TM:103 and alot of features, most recently 'Love King'. The originaly trap rapper is on some big form, just think when gucci gets out a collabo is a must.
8. The-Dream - Mr nash has the midas touch, literally, all gold records, writes hits (see single ladies) with 3rd album on the way another succesful year is on the cards.
9. Scorcher & Staple - skywalker himself has put the work in since his debut dropped. possibly the most lyrical uk mc that can float genres
10. Skepta - the independant mc is on a mission again, rescue me will cahrt bigger than bad boy mark my words.
Honourable Mentions:
